My research is mainly about mid-latitude atmospheric variability, its mechanism and climatic impacts in boreal winter, focusing on the East Asia-North Pacific region. I am interested in monsoon dynamics, atmospheric teleconnections, climate extreme events, and troposphere-stratosphere dynamical coupling.
