2006年、2010年先后破格晋升为副教授、教授。 研究成果先后发表在Nature子刊、ISPRS J. Photogramm. Remote Sens.、IEEE Trans. Geoscience and Remote Sensing、IJGIS等本领域顶级国际期刊上;被Nature、Science、Nature Climate Change以及PNAS等国际顶级学术期刊引用,研发的方法与技术获得了重要应用。

       特别高兴跟我们一起做了一年半研究、2019年本科毕业的刘方宇同学进入剑桥大学攻读博士学位。学生取得了优异的成绩是一件非常幸福的事情!坚信好的环境和氛围可以影响一个人,让普通的人变得优秀、优秀的人更加优秀。很荣幸自己在求学和工作中,遇到了非常非常好的老师、同事、兄长和朋友。始终怀着感恩的心,竭力将好的环境传递给学生,让他们做出对得起他们自己的成绩。

       “张老师,我这周把之后读书的事也定下来了。我最后申请了MIT、 EPFL、 Cambridge的PhD,拿到EPFL和Cambridge的offer。最后决定去剑桥做machine learning & natural language processing。其实今年一二月份基本都拿到了通知,但是一直在沟通导师的问题,以及剑桥有一个语言考试要求我最近才考过,所以这周才最终拿到剑桥的unconditional offer。谢谢张老师一直以来的关心和帮助,大二没有去张老师的实验室可能也不会走上科研道路!”

2018年411-15日,由世界知识产权组织、瑞士联邦政府等共同举办的第46瑞士日内瓦国际发明展(世界三大发明展之一)上,我们的深度学习在图像处理中的研究经过国际评委的质疑和严格评选后,从来自40个国家和地区的约1000项发明中脱颖而出,获得第46届日内瓦国际发明展金奖,并已经得到了很好的实际应用。这也是北师大首次荣获该奖项。

祝贺硕士生梅杰同学的论文“Joint Margin, Co-Graphand Label Constraints for Semi-supervised Scene Parsing from Point Clouds”被遥感领域顶级国际期刊IEEE Trans. Geoscience and Remote Sensing接收。此前,他大学四年级的研究成果“3D Tree Modeling from Incomplete Point Clouds viaOptimization and L1-MST”在地理信息科学最权威期刊International Journal of Geographical Information Science上发表。

祝贺王跃宾博士在北师大地学领域(地理科学学部、全球变化研究院和地学分析中心)以学术排名第一的成绩,其博士学位论文荣获2017年“北京师范大学优秀博士学位论文”。

20171014日,国际数字地球学会中国国家委员会(中委会)第三届全体委员会在中国地质大学(北京)国际会议中心举行。张立强教授被推选为第三届中委会委员,并被聘为第二届激光雷达专业委员会副主任委员(2017.10-2022.10)。
